I did my anchor pattern with rubberbands soaked in oil and beforehand, just to make sure, I washed these with hot water and Dawn dish detergent, soaked them in vinegar water, rinsed, and air-dried overnight. They were soft and clean. It's always advisable to wash the hair before you install. These went in so easily and I received enough acks to do my entire head with pretty full density. I have received compliments from EVERYONE and it works as a protective style while my own natural hair is growing out from my big chop.
